HIT-NOT® collision avoidance between forklifts
- Forklifts and other vehicles occasionally collide. Operators can be injured and the cost of damage can be large. HIT-NOT® utilizes its See-Through Technology to help avoid collisions.
- HIT-NOT provides alerts to operators and provides slow or stop signals if the forklift is equipped for external control inputs or an auto-slow system, such as SSC, is provided.
- Each Magnetic Field Generator on the forklift contains a Collision Avoidance Module that autonomously detects the magnetic field from other forklifts, regardless of the number. The Operator is alerted by the near-detect detections in priority over far-detect fields.
- The operator of the current forklift is alerted by three audio beeps and visual flashes.
- This capability functions for any brand or model of forklift, whether open storage or storage racks, electric or I.C. types, all with Plug-and-Play.
- Other auxiliary devices in the HIT-NOT architecture can be used to alter how the alarms work, based on the arrangement of the facility and operational considerations.
- HIT-NOT® systems work on any type of moving vehicle in the same way that they work on forklifts.
True See-Through Detection Technology
Magnetic pulse technology creates a stable magnetic field that passes through racks, walls, and loads. This enables true See-Through Detection, allowing the system to maintain consistent detection zones without the interference, false readings, or dead zones caused by signal reflection.
