Send Forklift alerts based on areas within facility
- Personnel in areas where forklifts only enter a few times per day need to be alerted upon the arrival of a forklift to allow them to move to a safe location.
- The HIT-NOT magnetic field on a forklift can be automatically detected by an Area Monitor, before the forklift enters a work area, and warn workers with lights and horns.
- The warnings can be continuous or time out while the forklift is present. Upon leaving, the warnings will be stopped.
- Also, if auto-slow capability has been added, the truck can be forced to slow before entering by using the SXL-MAC.
- This capability is especially important when forklifts come from large open areas where they operate at higher speeds into busy work areas.
