Hit-NOT® systems See Through Everything
- Pulsed Low Frequency Magnetic Fields pass through everything in an industrial setting and are not reflected. Detection is almost instant. Sensitivity/range is based on the inverse cube law of physics, fundamentally increasing their precision, even after passing through objects.
- Light cannot pass through objects. Neither can UWB RF effectively pass through objects. Videos on this site demonstrate this weakness. UWB does reflect off some surfaces.
- This Technology was proven four decades ago for quick, precise protection in very harsh and hazardous underground mining. This Technology can see through walls of coal and other minerals, further proving its penetration power.
- Forklift operators usually DO NOT run over pedestrians that are standing or walking in the forklift path of travel where they can be seen, visually.
- HIT-NOT® Sees through pallets of goods, appliances, rolls of steel, rolls of paper, bundles of lumber, machines, cabinets, etc., to quickly alert pedestrians and operators before the worker or visitor steps into the path of a forklift. AI Cameras and RF Systems usually cannot give warning until after a pedestrian can be seen, visibly. Sometimes, this is too late.
- HIT-NOT® sees through walls to warn pedestrians before exiting offices, break rooms, entering pass-throughs, etc.
- HIT-NOT warns operators and pedestrians about personnel, who are located behind goods or objects, that are occasionally crushed by the forklift shoving items into the person.
- HIT-NOT warns pedestrians that cannot be seen by operators because of large payloads on their forks. It also sees through the payload and warns operators when someone is in range but they cannot be seen. AI Cameras or RF systems cannot see through and often cannot see around large payloads on the forks.
- Forklift operators exiting loaded storage racks often cannot see forklifts or pedestrians in an associated roadway and those forklifts and pedestrians in roadways often cannot see forklifts preparing to exit onto the roadway. HIT-NOT® can easily see through the racks, AND their contents, to help avoid collisions by warning both the operators and/or pedestrians. Racks can be loaded to the ends without degrading detections by HIT-NOT®. This is a significant facility cost saving.
- HIT-NOT® systems on forklifts are autonomous, not being dependent upon facilities to produce their fields. They individually detect Personal Alarm Devices, regardless of the number. Similarly, autonomous Personal Alarm Devices detect all forklifts in their range, but alarm based on the nearest one.
- A set of carefully engineered auxiliary devices respond as part of the HIT-NOT® system to improve effectiveness for special facility situations, if needed.
Test Other Technologies. See That they are limited by the laws of physics
- HIT-NOT® magnetic fields are effective where other technologies may not be effective.
- AI Cameras require a clear line-of-sight.
- RF-Based technologies can be blocked, reflected, or attenuated by materials commonly found in industrial facilities.
- Industrial environments contain loaded storage racks, inventory, machinery, walls, and carried loads that can disrupt or degrade RF performance.

True See-Through Detection Technology
Magnetic pulse technology creates a stable magnetic field that passes through racks, walls, and loads. This enables true See-Through Detection, allowing the system to maintain consistent detection zones without the interference, false readings, or dead zones caused by signal reflection.
