Hit-NOT® Magnetic Fields Operate Independently
- HIT-NOT® Magnetic Fields from forklifts are not controlled by anything or anyone except the forklift’s magnetic field generator.
- Magnetic fields from other forklifts of any kind do not inhibit or degrade HIT-NOT® fields.
- HIT-NOT® Magnetic Fields are not controlled by a complex centralized system.
- Each forklift with HIT-NOT® operates independently and continuously.
- A forklift with HIT-NOT® is in control of its own detection range, based on current circumstances.
- Detection remains local to the forklift, providing reliable operation without dependence on external infrastructure.
The Advantages of Magnetic Field Technology
Built For Reliability
- HITNOT® Magnetic Field Generators have a very long life and almost never wear out.
- No routine replacement of field generators is typically required.
- If there were to be a Generator failure, the problem is limited to that one forklift.
- Other HITNOT®-equipped forklifts continue to operate normally.
- No single point of failure can affect an entire fleet.
360° Detection Coverage
- Magnetic Fields see 360 degrees around the forklift.
- Detection range is greatest in front of and behind the forklift where hazards are most critical.
- Provides protection around blind corners, obstructed loads, and busy work areas.
- Helps operators maintain awareness even when visibility is limited.
Designed For Operator Safety
- Operators in their seats are automatically isolated from their forklift magnetic field.
- The system is designed specifically for continuous industrial operation.
- Protection extends beyond what the operator can physically see.
Intelligent Field Control
- If the forklift OEM or auto-slow specialist offers no-motion signals, the HITNOT® will mute its field when not moving.
- Field activity can automatically adjust to operating conditions.
- Reduces unnecessary alerts while maintaining safety protection during vehicle movement.
HIT-NOT® Detection is Autonomous
Every PAD Makes its Own Decisions
- Each Personal Alarm Device (PAD) makes its own decisions when a magnetic field is detected.
- The PAD alarms the pedestrian and alerts the forklift operator, both audibly and visually.
- No centralized decision-making is required.
- Fast, local responses help improve awareness for both pedestrians and operators.
Multiple PADs Work Flawlessly
- Any number of nearby PADs will not impede proper operation.
- Multiple pedestrians can be protected simultaneously.
- Each PAD operates independently and responds appropriately to nearby forklifts.
Watch the demonstration below.
Multiple Forklifts? No Problem
- If multiple forklifts are present, a PAD will respond to the nearest forklift and alarm accordingly.
- Each PAD continuously evaluates the magnetic fields around it.
- Alerts are based on the most immediate hazard to the pedestrian.
Controlled Alert Zones
- PADs can be muted by special devices in special locations.
- Ideal for designated break areas, offices, training rooms, and other controlled environments.
- Allows facilities to customize alert behavior where appropriate.
CAMs Respond Autonomously Too
- CAMs on forklifts also respond autonomously to the presence of other forklifts.
- No centralized control is required.
- Forklift-to-forklift awareness remains active throughout the facility.
- Supports safer operations in areas with high vehicle traffic.

True See-Through Detection Technology
Magnetic pulse technology creates a stable magnetic field that passes through racks, walls, and loads. This enables true See-Through Detection, allowing the system to maintain consistent detection zones without the interference, false readings, or dead zones caused by signal reflection.
